An extraordinary meeting of the Rector’s Council was held at Urgench State University

An extraordinary meeting of the Council under the Rector was held at Urgench State University. The meeting was chaired by the university rector Feruza Madrakhimova and was attended by all vice-rectors, deans of faculties, and relevant administrative staff.

The agenda included pressing and priority issues related to the university’s activities. In particular, issues such as ensuring student employment, actively engaging students in entrepreneurial activities, and the implementation of the “Kelajakka qadam” program were thoroughly analyzed across faculties.

Additionally, improving the efficiency of the educational process, enhancing the quality of instruction, and strengthening student attendance were central topics of discussion. Relevant tasks were assigned to responsible officials to elevate the quality of education to a new level.

The meeting also placed special emphasis on the systematic development and regulation of international cooperation. Concrete measures were identified to enhance the university’s international reputation.

The Rector put forward new initiatives in the fields of IT, engineering, tourism, and production-related areas, assigning responsibilities for their practical implementation.

Furthermore, in order to ensure the execution of the directives set during the video conference meeting on sports held on April 7 under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was established that every Wednesday at the university will be designated as “Sports Day”.

At the conclusion of the meeting, other organizational matters on the agenda were also reviewed, and specific instructions were given to the responsible parties.
