Meetings of the Rector with faculty teams are ongoing

The next meeting of the Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrakhimova, was held with the academic staff of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies.

During the meeting, the Rector closely reviewed the state of scientific capacity across departments and emphasized her readiness to provide comprehensive support for the research activities of faculty members. In particular, special attention was given to further improving the conditions for the preparation and defense of dissertation work. Existing challenges faced by faculty were heard, and specific instructions were given to responsible officials to address them.

Issues related to establishing full-scale cooperation between the Faculty of Chemical Technologies and the Technopark were also thoroughly discussed.

Key topics such as active participation in international grant projects, publishing articles in prestigious scientific journals indexed in the Scopus database, and developing textbooks and teaching materials were discussed in detail. The important role of these areas in the university’s strategy to enter international rankings, particularly the Top 1000, was highlighted.

During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty, Sh.Kuramboyev, delivered a presentation on the faculty’s activities, providing information on ongoing work, achieved results, and future plans.

Held in an open and constructive atmosphere, the meeting included broad discussion of faculty proposals, initiatives, and existing challenges, with concrete measures identified to address them.
