Rector Met with the Staff of the Faculty of Philology and Arts

As previously reported, Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urgench State University, is currently holding meetings with faculty members across departments.

Today, the next meeting was held with the staff of the Faculty of Philology and Arts. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty, D.Ghayipov, presented a report on the faculty’s activities, providing information on ongoing work and future plans. The Rector showed particular interest in the achieved results and upcoming tasks in these areas.

During the meeting, the state of scientific potential across departments was analyzed, and issues related to the preparation and defense of dissertations by faculty members, as well as challenges in obtaining academic degrees and titles, were discussed. The Rector expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support in this regard.

The role of the faculty in the university’s life was also particularly emphasized, along with the need to expand projects aimed at further enhancing the status of the Uzbek language in the country.

The meeting, held in an open and sincere dialogue, included extensive discussion of proposals and initiatives from faculty members, existing challenges, and the identification of concrete measures to address them.
