Republican Scientific and Practical Conference on “Sustainable Development in Light Industry: Innovations and New Approaches”

Today, a Republican Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Sustainable Development in Light Industry: Innovations and New Approaches” commenced at Urgench State University, organized at the initiative of the Department of Light Industry Technologies of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies.

At the opening of the conference, the Rector of the University, Feruza Madrakhimova, delivered a welcome speech, emphasizing the relevance and importance of this scientific and practical event in the current context. She also highlighted the attention paid to the light industry sector by the country’s leadership, as well as the large-scale reforms and opportunities being created.

The conference brought together scientists, specialists, and researchers from leading higher education and research institutions of the republic, including Bukhara State Technical University, Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, Namangan State Technical University, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Karakalpak State University, and Termez University of Engineering and Agrotechnologies. During the conference, participants discussed issues related to the development of the light industry sector, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the improvement of production efficiency based on modern approaches. The conference was moderated by Professor M. Jumaniyazov.

At the plenary session, presentations by field experts on актуal topics were delivered. In particular, issues such as scientific research in the textile and light industry sector, environmental safety, modernization of production technologies, and the implementation of innovative developments into practice were extensively covered.
