"Young orators" contest

On March 26, 2021, the 2nd issue of the contest "Young orators" was held by the Faculty of Philology. The contest was attended by advanced, courageous and talented students from almost all faculties of the university, interested in public speaking. The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology D.Gayipov, who wished good luck to all participants.

Students of the university to speak fluently and correctly in our native language, in particular, Uzbek, to further strengthen their desire to master the art of public speaking, the orator who contributed to the development of the Uzbek language, so In order to study and promote the work of their artists, to gain knowledge about the culture of speech in their works, to strengthen the attention and respect for our state language, a group of university students took part in the contest. Courageous and talented students demonstrated their skills.

During the event, students of the 201st group of the Uzbek language performed melodies and songs, dances and performances. In the first condition, each participant described all the information about themselves in a poetic or prose way, while in the second condition, they demonstrated oratory skills in free topics that enhanced their speaking skills and encouraged them to think. Each condition was evaluated by a panel of judges.

According to the results:

1st place: Saparmatova Nodira (Faculty of Philology)

2nd place: Khudayberganov Mirzobek (Faculty of History)

2nd place: Rustamova Mohichehra (Faculty of Philology)

3rd place: Jumaniyozov Doniyor (Faculty of History)

Dean of the Faculty of Philology D.Gayipov, head of the department "Uzbek Linguistics" A.Primov and professors of the department awarded diplomas and letters of appreciation, as well as souvenirs to the winners of these places and students who actively participated in the contest.
