UrSU students are participating in seminars of the CAMP-1 program

Within the framework of the European Union ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE program "ECAMPUZ — European World Talent Camp for Uzbekistan Scientists in Food Science and Technology" project, on September 18-30, 2023, 26 undergraduate and graduate students of partner universities in Uzbekistan weekly training (CAMP-1) is being organized.

ECAMPUZ is a three-year joint Erasmus+ project on capacity building within the framework of cooperation between six partner higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and two prestigious higher education institutions of the European Union.

The main goal of the project is to build capacity, develop and implement sustainable tools to address national priorities related to "Sustainable growth and jobs" (subcategory "Knowledge Triangle, Innovation") in the food sector in Uzbekistan.

In the two-week CAMP-1 program, 5 professors of European universities: Scientists like the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) - ass. Prof. Bekzod Khakimov, assistant. Tomasz Pawel Czaja; University of Extremadura (Spain) - Prof. Jorge Ruiz-Carrascal, ass.Prof. Mario Estevez Garcia and Dr. Ana Isabel Andres Nieto teach students about food science.

Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Center of Advanced Technologies are the coordinators of this project.

A cooperation agreement was signed between Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Urganch State University regarding this project. In this regard, among the 5 higher educational institutions of the republic, 6 master's and bachelor's students of Urganch State University are participating in the project training at the "Yoshlar" camp, Bostonliq district, Tashkent region, on September 18-24.

The next classes of the project are scheduled to be held on September 25-30 at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the Center of Advanced Technologies.
