International cooperation: both scientific research and tourism

In accordance with the agreements between the International Islamic University Malaysia and Urgench State University in the direction of studying the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, researching unique architectural examples, expanding and promoting the tourism network, on September 22-October 1, 2023, a delegation of 33 faculty members and students of the Faculty of Architecture of the International Islamic University Malaysia is visiting the university.
During the two-week scientific research program, the members of the delegation are conducting scientific research work in collaboration with the "Architecture" department of Urgench State University, as well as studying the "Itchan Kala" complex as an example of cultural heritage objects of the Khiva city.
