A delegation from the French partner University of Poitiers visited Urganch State University

Today, on September 26, a delegation from the French University of Poitiers visited the university.

The purpose of this visit, scheduled for September 26-27 of this year, is to further expand cooperation between the two universities, to meet professors and teachers and students at the faculties, to participate in lectures and seminars, to get acquainted with the educational and scientific process of the university.

Initially, a meeting was held with the participation of the members of the delegation, including the head of student exchange programs with Central Asian countries of the Faculty of Languages and Literature of Poitiers University, Licia Bagini, coordinator of Erasmus programs in Kazakhstan, head of the international relations department of the Faculty of Mathematics, Farida Enikeeva, coordinator of Erasmus programs in Uzbekistan, Philippe Rogeon, head of the international relations department of the Faculty of Economics, coordinator of Erasmus programs in Kyrgyzstan, Armelle Jacquemot, head of the international relations department of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, and S. Khodjaniyozov, vice-rector for Academic Affairs of UrSU, Z. Ibragimov, vice-rector for Research and Innovation of UrSU, deans of relevant faculties cooperating with French universities, heads of departments, young scientists and employees of the International Relations Department.

In the official negotiation of the parties, promising cooperation relations for both universities were determined. Proposals for further strengthening of established relations were noted. A desire to expand contacts within the framework of the Erasmus+ program was expressed.

After that, the guests toured the university.

For information, in the afternoon today, members of the delegation will participate in lectures and seminars.
