AMIR TEMUR'S 688th BIRTH ANNIVERSARY IS WIDELY CELEBRATED

Today, on April 9, an event dedicated to the 688th anniversary of Amir Temur's birth was held at the Urgench State University on the initiative of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences.

At the event, the dean of the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences I.Abdullayev, "History" Head of the department U.Abdullayev, associate professors of the department Sh.Yusupov and A.Yusupov and teachers M.Khasanov and O.Madaminov gave a lectures about the role of Amir Temur and the diplomacy of the Timurid era, the socio-economic life of Khorezm cities during the Timurid era, the rules of our great grandfather and his creative ideas in shaping the spiritual outlook of young people.

Also, the artistic performances organized by the students of the faculty gave the event special excitement.
