International conference

Today, on April 17, at Urgench State University, a conference focused on current problems of ancient history, historiography, and source studies of Central Asia started its work at the initiative of the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences.

At this conference dedicated to the history and culture of Central Asia, UrSU Rector Bakhrom Abdullayev spoke and opened the meeting. Olga Naumenko professor of Yugor State University, Narzulla Jorayev professor of UzSWLU, and professors and teachers from partner universities of France, Russia, Belarus and Turkey are participating in it.

At this prestigious conference, lectures were heard on topics such as Chingiz Aitmatov's factor in the history and culture of Central Asia, the defense of Khorezm during the Mongol invasion, and Bronze Age migrations and ethnocultural processes in Central Asia.

The conference continues its work in branch meetings.
