Rector of Urgench State University met with artists

Today, May 4, the rector of Urgench State University Bakhrom Abdullayev met with the head of the Khorezm branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, poetess Gavhar Ibodullayeva, and Muhabbat Safoyeva, a member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, editor-in-chief of the "Khonka Life" newspaper.

The "Sharing of Enlightenment" project, aimed at attracting young people from all over the country to book reading, promoting the works of well-known writers and poets, raising their interest in fiction, raising the level of artistic literacy, and educating them in the spirit of patriotism and involvement in the future of our country, and the important importance of this project in the life of young people, further strengthening of cooperation between Urgench State University and Khorezm regional branch of Writers' Union, wide promotion of reading among young people by holding more meetings of well-known poets and writers with students and youngsters.

At the end of the meeting, Rector B. Abdullayev expressed his deep gratitude to the poets Gavhar Ibodullayeva and Muhabbat Safoyeva, who have been actively participating in creative meetings with students and youngsters in close cooperation with Urgench State University within the framework of the "Sharing Enlightenment" project, and handed over souvenirs.
