The Minister of Digital Technologies Visited Urgench State University

Today, Sherzod Shermetov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited Abu Rayhan Beruni Urgench State University.

During the visit, he familiarized himself with the newly constructed academic building of the Faculty of Intelligent Sciences and Technologies and the Artificial Intelligence Center being established on the basis of the building.

University officials presented the Center’s main areas of activity, capabilities, and prospective projects. Recommendations and proposals were shared on further developing artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and innovative solutions, as well as improving young people’s modern IT skills.

The Minister also reviewed innovative projects developed by students studying IT-related fields at the university.
