Open lesson

On October 9, 2025, Sayyora Shokirjonovna Bekmanova, an trainee-teacher at the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty of Foreign Philology at Urgench State University, conducted an open lesson for students of group 2301A-English. The lesson was part of the "Reading and Writing Practice" module and was themed "Reading 1: What makes a successful logo? (Marketing)."

The open lesson was observed by O.A. Ruzmetova, Acting Associate Professor, PhD, and M.H. Divanova, an trainee-teacher of the department.

The main objective of the lesson was to develop students' skills in analyzing marketing texts, critical thinking, and vocabulary enrichment. Modern pedagogical technologies such as the "Case Study" method, "Brainstorming," and "Working in small groups" were effectively used during the lesson. Students actively participated in the class, expressing their analytical opinions using examples of famous brand logos. Thematic presentations, video clips, and handouts helped make the lesson more understandable and engaging. The interactive methods applied during the class ensured a lively and effective session, increasing the students' interest in the topic.

The observers gave positive feedback on the organization of the lesson, the relevance of the topic, and the teacher's pedagogical skills. At the department meeting, S.Sh. Bekmanova's open lesson was discussed, and her achievements and areas for improvement were specifically noted.
