Open lesson

On October 23, an open lesson on the topic “Organizing Storytelling” was conducted by Bibijon Rustamovna Sapayeva, a lecturer at the Department of English Language and Literature, together with group 2504-B.
The main objective of the open lesson was to develop students’ speech competence, enhance creative thinking, and improve their story-building skills. During the session, the instructor provided scientifically grounded explanations on the stages, structure, and communicative functions of storytelling. Furthermore, the significance of the storytelling method in language learning—particularly its role in fostering interaction and motivation—was thoroughly discussed.
To ensure active student participation, various practical activities were organized, including constructing oral texts based on pictures, question-and-answer exercises, and creating and describing short stories using given words. Through these exercises, students had the opportunity to apply the main stages of storytelling in practice.
