The literary evening devoted to the 537th birthday of the great Uzbek poet, thinker, historian and statesman, founder of the central state and the Baburid kingdom, dedicated to the 537th anniversary of Babur was held at Urgench State University. Inaugural competition "Poetry of poetry" was held. The event was opened by the rector of Urgench State University, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences BIAbdullaev, who spoke about the importance of the life and creativity of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Arts and actors of the Regional Musical Drama Theater. The event was attended by a group of poets and writers from the regional branch of the Writers' Union. Winners of essay competition on the life and creativity of great figures like Alisher Navoi, Matnazar Abdulhakim, competition "Kitabxon Generation", Ulugbek Khamdam's "Rebellion and obedience" were also held during the event. Winners of the competition and active participants who won the "Poetry of Honor" competition will be awarded by the dean's office.
