Students of Urgench State University Achieve Notable Results at IMC 2026 International Mathematics Competition
From July 27 to August 3 of this year, the 33rd International Mathematics Competition for University Students — IMC 2026 was held at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.
The prestigious international competition brought together around 500 talented students from more than 70 countries. Students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Urgench State University proudly represented the university at the international level.
We are pleased to highlight the outstanding achievements of our students:
- Muslima Davronbekova — a third-year student majoring in Mathematics Education, who received a Bronze Medal (Third Prize);
- Sherzodbek Saidov — a third-year student majoring in Applied Mathematics, who received an Honourable Mention.
These achievements demonstrate the students’ strong mathematical knowledge, intellectual potential and dedication, as well as the valuable contribution of their teachers and mentors.
