On December 5, a regular scientific and methodological seminar was held in Room 448 at the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni.
At the seminar, a lecture was delivered by Gulimmatova Rashida Samandar kizi, a trainee lecturer of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology, on the topic “Advantages of Using Digital Technologies in Foreign Language Teaching.”
During the seminar, detailed information was presented on the role of digital technologies in foreign language teaching, their impact on the pedagogical process, as well as their significance in the development of students’ communicative skills.
In addition, it was noted that the rational use of digital technologies in the process of foreign language teaching contributes to improving the quality of students’ knowledge, facilitates the organization of the teaching process for instructors, and increases students’ interest in independent learning.
The faculty members of the department expressed their opinions and remarks on the discussed topic. The scientific and methodological seminar was held in a lively and active atmosphere.
