The Award Ceremony of the Winners of the Khorezm Regional Stage of the National Contest “Woman of the Year – 2025” Was Held
Today, Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the Khorezm regional stage of the national contest “Woman of the Year – 2025.”
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region and Head of the Department for Family and Women’s Affairs, Nigora Kutlimuratova. In her speech, she emphasized the vital role of women in the development of society, noting that their achievements in science, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and other fields are of great importance to the prosperity of our country.
Following this, women who have distinguished themselves through their work, initiative, and exemplary life paths while actively contributing to various sectors of society were solemnly awarded as winners of the regional stage of the national contest “Woman of the Year – 2025.” Their social activism and contribution to the development of the country were highly recognized.
In addition, the winners of the regional stage of the national contest “Gender Equality Activist” were announced and ceremoniously awarded for their initiatives and projects aimed at promoting gender equality in society, increasing women’s participation, and expanding equal opportunities in social life.
As part of the event, a national costume exhibition was organized, showcasing vibrant images that reflect the national values of our country.
Performances by melodious singers from Khorezm created a festive atmosphere for the participants and added a unique charm and uplifting spirit to the event.
