“Leader and Youth” Meeting Was Held

Today, a meeting with students and youth titled “Leader and Youth” was organized at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. The meeting was opened with a welcoming speech by the Acting Rector of the university, S. Khodjaniyazov, who emphasized that working with youngsters and supporting their initiatives is one of the most important tasks of today.

The event was attended by Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region S. Salayev, who engaged in direct dialogue with the students. During the meeting, the proposals and initiatives of youth were heard, issues of concern to them were discussed, and opinions related to the educational process were expressed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, in order to support youngsters, monetary awards allocated by the Khorezm Regional Administration to cover the tuition contract fees of two students were presented. In addition, a laptop was gifted to one member of the “Qalqon” team.

Furthermore, the university administration ceremonially presented clothing and necessary technical equipment to 30 members of the “Qalqon” team.
