Today, April 3, the 8th meeting of the Council of Urgench State University was held under the chairmanship of rector Bakhrom Abdullayev. The meeting of the council started with happy news for the team as per the tradition.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Siddikov Marat Khalilovich, an honored teacher who has been working at Urgench State University for many years, Rector B. Abdullayev warmly congratulated him for his long-term fruitful work and presented souvenirs on behalf of the team.

The head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences, N. Fayzullayev, was awarded the diploma of Associate Professor, and the teacher of the Technical Faculty, S. Atashev, was awarded the PhD diploma.

Under the leadership of conductor I. Karimov of Urgench State University, who won the proud 3rd place at the international audition festival of multi-voice ensembles and orchestras of national instruments "Sounds of Navruz" held in Tashkent on March 26-27. Certificates were ceremoniously handed over to the "Jayhun" orchestra team, and it was announced that each student in the team would be financially encouraged.

In addition, Sh.Nurullayeva, the chairman of the Women's Advisory Council, was awarded the honor of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, and M.Avezova, the practicing psychologist, was awarded the honorary certificate of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

After that, the council continued its work on the issues on the agenda and listened to the reports and information of the officials. Various issues were discussed and the candidates for the associate professorship of Higher Attestation Commission were elected.
