The Peking-Urgench International Mathematics Center Conferences are in full swing at UrSU
On May 20-22 of this year, the "First China-Uzbekistan Conference on Complex Analysis" is being held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Beijing International Mathematical Research Center.
At today's conference, lectures were given by Associate Professor A.Atamurotov, Head of the Khorezm Department of the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics, on "Hessians of m-convex functions", Professor Zhenxiao Xie of Peking University on "Sextic rational curves in the quintic del Pezzo 3-fold V5 and constantly curved holomorphic 2- spheres in G(2,5)", and Professor K. Rakhimov of the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics on "Measures of large entropy for polynomial-like maps in several complex variables".
