Azerbaijani scholar is conducting classes for students at UrSU
From November 6 to December 20 of this year, an Azerbaijani scholar is conducting classes for students at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni. Aynur Aydin qizi Ibrahimova, Head of the International Relations Department of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Senior Researcher at the Folklore Institute, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, is teaching the 4th-year students of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature the course “Uzbek-Azerbaijani Folklore Relations.”
Today, a meeting was held with the guest, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Arts D.Gayipov, and the Acting Rector of the University S.Khodjaniyazov. During the meeting, the current state and prospects of bilateral scientific cooperation were discussed, particularly joint research in the field of folklore studies, innovative approaches, as well as experience exchange among professors and teaching staff.
At the end of the meeting, the guest shared her impressions of the university and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the historical and cultural ties between the Uzbek and Azerbaijani peoples.
