The national games of the Uzbek people have a long past and a rich history. Our national games, which are passed down from ancestors to generations, are considered our spiritual wealth and values, are also important in the education of youngsters. Because our national games are a means of honesty, strength, harmony, dexterity and intelligence.

At Urgench State University, Novruz holiday is more enjoyable with such games.

In this sense, today, among the students of all faculties of our university, competitions were held in 5 national sports such as tug-of-war, wrestling, dart board, stone lifting, arm wrestling.

 The most dexterous and strong ones won and received souvenirs presented by the university.
