On March 18-21 of this year, a 22-member tourist group consisting of employees of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Turkey and retired representatives of the defense system is visiting Khorezm region.

Today, March 20, this tour group visited Urgench State University. The guests were warmly welcomed by the management headed by the rector of the university B.Abdullayev.

In the sincere dialogue held with the participation of the representatives of the two brotherly peoples, the Uzbek and Turkish peoples recognized the age-old friendship, fraternal ties, shared language, culture, and customs, and expressed their desire to further strengthen these friendly and cooperative relations.

At the meeting, vice-rector S.Khodjaniyozov made a presentation about Urgench State University and introduced the university's current activities and opportunities.
