Today, the opening of the scientific-practical conference on "Issues of raising the education of Korean philology and Korean studies to a new level" scheduled for April 19-20 was held at Urgench State University.

The Rector of Urgench State University B.Abdullayev opened the conference with an introductory speech and wished the conference progress.

Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs S. Khojaniyozov, Director of the Korean Culture Center of Khorezm Region Kim Antonina, Professor J. Ermetova of UrSU, scientists from abroad and many universities of our Republic are participating in the conference.

At the conference, lectures were heard on the current day and prospects of Korean studies in Uzbekistan, effective ways of teaching the science of Korean country studies, and the topics of the Korean National Theater.
