Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, director of the Institute of Mathematics named after V. I. Romanovsky, Hero of Uzbekistan Shavkat Ayupov, as part of his visit to the Khorezm region, was at the Urgench State University and gave a lecture to professors and teachers, doctoral students and masters of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the university.

Academician Shavkat Ayupov spoke about the establishment of the Academy of Sciences and its development in the years of independence, and noted that at no time has science been given as much attention as it is now. Today, they talked about the reforms implemented in the development of science and education, the current problems and measures to eliminate them.

Also, the Hero of Uzbekistan Shavkat Ayupov met with the students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics as part of his visit to Urgench State University.

At the beginning of the meeting, he talked about the reforms carried out in the development of the field of science, especially the field of mathematics, and the funds established to support youngsters.

In the second part of the meeting, he gave a scientific lecture to the students on modern problems of algebra.
