The Address — a Guarantee of Sustainable Development and Prosperity

Today, on January 23, a roundtable discussion entitled “The Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan — a Guarantee of Sustainable Development and Prosperity” was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. The event was organized at the initiative of the Khorezm regional branch of the Center for the Analysis of Democratic Processes.

The event brought together representatives of civil society institutions, non-governmental non-profit organizations, political parties and their deputies, active youth of UrSU, as well as faculty members.

Speakers emphasized that the Address places human dignity, social justice, and sustainable development at its core, while economic growth, support for entrepreneurship, and the creation of new jobs remain priority directions of state policy.

It was also specifically noted that starting from 2026, a five-year strategy for the development of civil society will be developed, the system of social orders will be digitalized, and funding volumes will be increased.

At the conclusion of the event, participants exchanged views on disseminating the essence and significance of the Address to the wider public, increasing public awareness, and ensuring the effective implementation of the tasks outlined in the Address by civil society institutions at the local level.
