The Rector of Urganch State University met with professors and teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Philology

The next meeting of the Rector of Urganch State University B.Abdullayev was held with the team of the Faculty of Foreign Philology. At the meeting, the past year 2022 was summarized on the example of the faculty, and plans for the next year were determined. In particular, the scientific potential of the faculty, the number of defenses made in the previous year were analyzed, the scientific works published by the members of the department were discussed, and the issue of increasing the scientific potential was put on the agenda. It was mentioned that the basic doctoral admission quota for the faculty has been increased and more opportunities will be created in this direction. It was also emphasized that 80% of the professors and teachers of the faculty have international and national C1 certificates, and this indicator should be increased to 100% in the 1st quarter of this year.

Also, referring to the President's Address to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, tasks were given to organize education in a better quality.

Information: Currently, 150 professors and teachers work in the main staff of the Faculty of Foreign Philology in 4 departments. Scientific potential is 10%. In the last 2 years, 9 people defended their Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
