Practice-Oriented Education – A Demand of the Times

At the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, the dual education system aimed at integrating academic learning with practical training is steadily expanding. This system enables students not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to gain deep practical skills essential for real production processes.

Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-3151, the educational process for students of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Energy at Urgench State University is conducted in two directions — theoretical knowledge is taught at the university, while practical classes are held at enterprises in real production environments.

Currently, fourth-year students specializing in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics and Electrical Technologies, and Electric Power Engineering undergo professional internships every Friday and Saturday at the Khorezm Regional Electric Networks Enterprise.

This experience not only strengthens students’ professional training but also plays a crucial role in shaping them into competitive specialists in the labor market. The dual education system serves as an effective bridge between modern education and industry, becoming a true school of practical experience for young people.
