Urgench State University has taken preventive measures to prevent fire safety.

In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution No. 743 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 9, 2021 "On additional measures for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations and the maintenance of fire safety", staff of the Emergency Situations Department of Urgench City are carrying out preventive measures in order to prevent and eliminate possible emergencies and to ensure fire safety.

One such event was held at Urgench State University on January 5, 2022 to extinguish a possible fire and prevent fire safety.

The event was attended by Captain I. Bobojanov, Deputy Head of the Urgench ESD, Captain E. Nurimov, Head of the Urgench ESD division, as well as staff of the department, university Civil Protection and Labor Protection Officers, facultied and students.

Speakers at the event said that in order to prevent fires, gas and electricity sources should not be misused, young children should not be left unattended at home, illegal devices should not be installed by citizens in existing fire safety corridors between homes, pyrotechnics should not be sold and they talked about not using it.

It was also noted that the guards, who guard the property of the university buildings should know the use of primary fire extinguishers, not to let strangers into the building, not to fall asleep at night, and should know the emergency telephone numbers.
