Mobility scholarship for Slovenia


Call for Student Exchange Programme with the University of Primorska (Koper, Slovenia) in the frame of the Erasmus+ Programme, Action KA171

The University of Primorska (UP) is a public university in Slovenia. In the frame of the Erasmus+ programme, Action KA171, the UP has obtained funds for enabling student exchange (for study) with partner universities from Uzbekistan. University of Primorska was granted 2 incoming mobilities under Erasmus+ programme, namely: 2 incoming students from Uzbekistan to the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies (UP FAMNIT) for 5 months.

UP FAMNIT (http://www.famnit.upr.si/en) offers courses in the following fields:

  • Mathematics
  • Mathematics in Economics and Finance
  • Computer Science
  • Bioinformatics
  • Biodiversity
  • (Mediterranean) Agriculture
  • Biopsychology
  • Architecture and Construction
  • Data Science 
  • All mobilities have to be completed by 31 July 2025.

Mobility duration: Incoming students are invited for 5 months stay

The student will receive the Erasmus+ mobility grant that includes:

  • Subsistence costs (accommodation, local transfer and other costs): 800,00€/month..
  • Travel costs*: contribution to the travel costs from participant’s place of origin to the venue of the activity and return. Travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator supported by the European Commission (http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm)

From 500 to 1999 km 275 EUR

From 2000 to 2999 km 360 EUR

From 3000 to 3999 km 530 EUR

From 4000 to 7999 km 820 EUR

8000 or more 1500 EUR

Before the start of the mobility (student exchange), two documents need to be signed:

1) The Erasmus+ interinstitutional agreement between UP as the host institution and the partner university as the sending institution (student’s home institution); and

2) the Learning Agreement between the host institution, the sending institution and the student; the Learning Agreement defines the activities that will be carried out by the participant during the exchange period. 

Deadlines, Submission and Selection process

Selection process is divided into two steps:

In the first step, students have to provide the required documents listed below:

1. English certificate (IELTS, TOEFL or other language certificate) - 40 point
2. Motivation letter - 30 point
3. Transcript of records - 20 point
4. Recommendation letters (2 reccomendation letters are suggested) - 10 point

In the second step: Short Interview (5-7 mins for each participants) - 100 point
