The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation got acquainted with the scientific and innovative projects of scientists of Urganch State University

On March 31, 2023, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, academician Ibrahim Abdurahmanov, accompanied by his deputy Sarvarkhan Buzrukkhanov, visited Urganch State University.

The minister's first address at the university was the Faculty of Chemical Technologies. He got acquainted with the exhibition where achievements in the field of science and innovation were reflected. The exhibition featured 24 types of scientific developments and inventions created by faculty scientists.

In particular, he observed "Technology of production of bitumen emulsion based on industrial waste and local raw materials", "Energy-saving technology of production of ceramic acid-resistant and clinker bricks based on raw materials of the Lower Amudarya region", "Production of decorative felt rugs", "Mineral raw materials of the Arolboi region", "Mini Yarn Spinning from Local Woolen Fibers", "Technology of development of import substitute chalk", he paid special attention to the importance of scientific and innovative developments of scientists and their role in production, and their contribution to the development of the industry. He made interesting proposals for the sale of products based on these projects. In particular, the university put forward a proposal to open a store for the sale of its products in its territory and sell them under the UrSU brand. In addition, he emphasized that it is permissible to apply certain inventions to production, and said that the ministry would help with financing in necessary cases.
