At the initiative of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, seminar-trainings aimed at improving the professional skills of foreign language teachers working in technical schools in our region have started. This initiative contributes to enhancing the quality of education and strengthening teachers’ knowledge and skills in modern pedagogical approaches and innovative technologies.

At the opening session, the Dean of the Faculty of Sports activities, pedagogy, and psychology, A.Khudayberganov, held a cordial dialogue with technical school teachers, emphasizing that these sessions are aimed at enhancing teachers’ professional potential and guiding them toward continuous professional development. The Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, R.Abidova, introduced the participants in detail to the purpose, plan, and expected outcomes of the seminar-trainings, noting that special attention will be given to integrating theory with practice during the sessions.

The first session, “Introduction to Educational Technology in the Foreign Language Classroom,” was conducted by Senior Lecturer of the Department of English Language and Literature, S.Atajanova. Important concepts and practical recommendations were provided on the effective use of modern educational technologies in foreign language classes, increasing student engagement through digital tools, and organizing an interactive learning process.
