Acceptance of documents for participation in the Hungarian scholarship program continues.

The coordinator from Uzbekistan is the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The deadline for applying for the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program announced by the Hungarian government is January 16, 2022, 14:00 (CET).

Within the framework of this scholarship program, the Hungarian side will provide a total of 170 educational grants for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the 2023/2024 academic year in the following order:

20 places - bachelor's degree;

10 places - bachelor's degree combined with master's degree, i.e. documents are submitted for undergraduate studies, which also includes a master's program ("OTM - One time master"), the duration of study is 5 or 6 years, depending on the direction of education;

60 places - master's degree;

60 places - doctoral studies (PhD);

20 places — to study at the University of Physical Education (in Budapest).

Scholarships can also be used for short-term courses at Hungarian universities.

In addition, we would like to inform you that:

With regard to paragraph 3.4.2 (“Announcement of the receipt of applications” - “Call for Applications”), we give an explanation that the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan does not need to submit documents - neither online nor in paper form.

It is enough to send all documents in online format directly to the platform indicated by Tempus Public Foundation (Hungarian coordinator of this scholarship program).

 

At the initial stage, documents are carefully examined by Hungary, and all documents that do not meet the selection requirements are removed from the list.

"Short list" (list of shortlists) to evaluate candidates sequentially from 1 to 170 (main list) and then from 170 to 340 (reserve) after consultation with the relevant higher education institutions by the Hungarian side It is sent to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The final decision on admission is made by Hungary based on the decisions of the host Hungarian universities.

The Hungarian admitting university or the coordinators may, if necessary, invite the candidate to an online interview.

The position of candidates on the list is determined within strictly allocated quotas — 20 (bachelor), 10 — (master’s degree combined with bachelor’s), 60 — (master’s degree), 60 — (doctorate), 20 — University of Physical Education (Budapest city.).

The order of placement (evaluation) in the list is determined based on the priorities of personnel training in Uzbekistan.

Preference will be given to those who applied for engineering and technology, as well as medicine, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemistry, geology, physics, information technology, artificial intelligence, energy, alternative energy sources and other similar fields.

Work experience in a higher education institution, knowledge of foreign languages will be important. The privilege is given not to those who want to finish their studies in 2023, but to those who have completed one or another stage by January 16, 2023.

Candidates who want to continue their professional activities in the republic, especially in the system of higher, secondary special and vocational education, in scientific centers of the republic and similar institutions, are supported.
