Cooperation between Urgench State University and University of Münster

In 2020, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Department of Romance-Germanic Philology of Urgench State University and Wilhelm Westphalian University of Münster (WWU Münster, Germany).
Currently, within the framework of this memorandum, department heads Gulnora Abdullaeva and Arslon Matkarimov are in Münster, Germany, for advanced training, familiarization with educational standards of German universities, educational process and research internship.
 
Gulmira Rakhimberganova, a 3rd year student in the Department of Philology and Language Teaching (German), is also studying in Münster in the spring semester 2021-2022 on the basis of this programme.
The main purpose of the visit was to work together with the experts from the partner organisation on a textbook project created on the topic of "Interkulturelle Kommunikation" ("Intercultural Communication") and to bring the necessary teaching literature for our students, teachers and Teachers, independent education is to learn how to create, teach and integrate it into the Moodle platform. At the same time, the curriculum and syllabuses of Münster University are being studied and plans are being made to use them in the future at Urgench State University.
In addition, it was decided to form a network of educational and scientific cooperation between UrDU, TerDU, BuchDU and the University of Münster in the future, and within this network to improve the quality of German language teaching and to cooperate in the scientific field.
As part of the visit, a 2-day training workshop on "Interactive Competence" was held for our teachers.
During the visit, the issue of scientific cooperation with Münster University, including training and internships for a number of professors, researchers and students-practitioners at Urgench State University was discussed. Negotiations are underway with Prof. S. Reuwekamp and Prof. S. Guenther to create conditions for scientific cooperation among young faculty members.
 
Arslan Matkarimov is also at the university to identify an academic supervisor, direction and topic of research work for his scientific research under the "research internship" scholarship established by Urgench State University and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.
