On October 21, 2022, students of the 33rd IDUM (a school specializing in chemistry and biology) of the Shavot district visited the Urganch State University under the guidance of the head of the class M. Sharipova and the school psychologist N. Allaevalar. First, the students got acquainted with the general location of the university, management and faculties.
The next destination was the Faculty of Natural Sciences, where under the leadership of Associate Professor A. Masharipov of the "Ecology and Life Safety" department, he introduced students to the faculty. During the visit, the students were introduced to the activities of the faculty, educational auditoriums and laboratory rooms, and while getting acquainted with the educational processes (lecture, practical and laboratory), they directly participated in the lessons, especially laboratory work. In this, they were interested in conducting chemical reactions in chemical laboratories for extracting phenols, experiments on animals in biological laboratories, processes of identifying soil microorganisms.
