A cultural event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Indian independence was held

In order to further strengthen cooperation between the Lal Baxadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture and the Urgench State University, under the leadership of the head of the Department of English Language and Literature J.I. Ermetova, on December 23, 2021, a cultural event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence was held at the Palace of Culture of Urgench State University. Students of the Department of Foreign Language and Literature (English) took an active part in the event, performing Indian national dances and songs. The event was also attended by the director of the Lal Baxadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture, Professor Chander Shekhar, who thanked the university community and sent a reward in the form of a sum of one and a half million soums to the organizers and participants of the event.
