A contest of scientific developments and projects was held among women scientists at the university

The United Nations has designated February 11 as "International Women's Day in Science". In this regard, a number of events are being held at Urganch State University as part of the "International Day of Women and Girls in Science" week.

In particular, today, under the leadership of the Women's Consultative Council of the university, a contest was held among professors-teachers in 16 categories and female students in 4 categories. Z. Ibragimov, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation, opened the contest. Scientific developments and projects received by the jury consisting of Head of the Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Pedagogical Personnel Training Y. Jumaniyozova, Patent Engineer of the Department of commercialization of Scientific and innovative elaborations S. Bazarbayev, Chief Specialist of the Department D. Matniyozova, Women's Counseling of UrSU chairman of the council Sh.Nurullayeva, associate professor M.Boltayeva, chairman of the regional "Scientist" women's association, associate professor  M. Iskandarova were considered. All female scientists and students of the faculty actively participated in the contest.

The winners will be announced on February 11, "International Women's Day in Science".
