Teaching English for Special and Academic Purposes: Issues and Prospects

Today, March 15, an international scientific-practical conference was held under the leadership of the "Interfaculty Foreign Languages" department of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Urganch State University on the topic "Teaching English for special and academic purposes: problems and prospects".

It was attended by professors and teachers of the faculty, researchers, students, and specialists from foreign partner universities conducting classes, as well as foreign scientists through the Zoom platform.

The conference was opened by Z. Ibragimov, vice-rector for Research and Innovation of UrSU, and wished success to the conference.

This international scientific and practical conference aims to disseminate the latest news and achievements in the teaching of English for special and academic purposes among experts in the field, to discuss the existing theories of teaching English for special and academic purposes around the world, to discuss English for special purposes. and to get acquainted with the scientific works conducted abroad and in our republic on the methodology of teaching for academic purposes, to illuminate the possibilities of using innovative methods in teaching English for special and academic purposes.

During the conference, according to the agenda, lectures were heard, experts expressed mutual opinions and shared experience.
