Scientists from SiChuan University of China are at UrSU

On July 12, 2023, scientists from SiChuan University of China, led by Academician Yongbin Ruan, visited Urganch State University. The main purpose of the visit is to develop cooperation between Chinese and Central Asian universities.

As part of the visit, an official dialogue of the guests was held with the participation of mathematicians and employees of the Khorezm branch of the Institute of Mathematics under the leadership of UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev. Our compatriot Professor Zoir Ibragimov, a professor of the California State University of the USA, also took part in the meeting. During the conversation, the guests were explained about the current activity of Urganch State University, scientific potential, international cooperation relations, material and technical base, conditions created for students. Urganch State University is always ready to cooperate with SiChuan University. At this meeting, it was agreed to cooperate with SiChuan University in the field of mathematics, to implement research projects and to exchange professors and teachers.

After the meeting, the guests visited the newly constructed educational building of the university, which is currently being equipped.
