A meeting of the Rector of the University of Poitiers was held

As we have reported, these days the delegation of the French partner University of Poitiers is staying at Urganch State University in order to further expand the cooperation between the two universities, to meet with professors and teachers and students of the faculties, and to participate in lectures and seminars.

Today, on September 27, a meeting was held with UrSU Rector B. Abdullayev and the members of the delegation. Speaking with the guests, Rector B. Abdullayev spoke about the ongoing cooperation with Poitiers University and stated that Urganch State University is interested in further expanding it in various areas of education.

In turn, the members of the delegation expressed their hope to develop these relations on the basis of more promising projects for both universities.

Licia Bagini, head of student exchange programs with Central Asian countries of the Faculty of Languages and Literature of the University of Poitou, and coordinator of Erasmus programs in Kazakhstan said: "Currently, 3 of your students are studying with us as part of the Erasmus+ project. They are very active, self-motivated and polite. Thank you very much for this. We want to implement similar student exchange programs in the future".

At the meeting, the parties made their proposals for further development of educational and scientific relations and reached agreements.
