More than 40 participants of the info tour, consisting of tour operators, scientists and investors from the Republic of Turkey, are staying in our region in order to get to know the history, cultural monuments, and ancient monuments of Khorezm region.

Today, on September 28, members of this delegation visited our university to get to know Urganch State University.

First, a meeting was held with the members of the delegation, UrSU Rector Bahrom Abdullayev and university management staff. At the meeting, it was recognized that the two countries are connected by a similar language, traditions and values, common religion, age-old friendship and cultural ties.

Rector B.Abdullayev gave information about the established cooperation relations of Urganch State University with many universities of Turkey, gave a close introduction to the activities of the university today.

It should be noted separately that the guests showed great interest in our university. The scientists in the delegation are from the universities where they work, in particular, Prof. Orhan Ermetin from Bozok University of Turkey.  and Prof. Aksoy Kavaltsi  from Yalova University offered to establish cooperation in educational and scientific areas.

Also, at the meeting, M. Matniyozov, a teacher of the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences, gave a presentation on the competence of the faculty.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged souvenirs. After that, the delegation went on a tour of the university.
