An open lecture on "Uzbek orthography and punctuation" was held for the students of group 221 of applied philology department by K. Olloyorov, associate professor of the department of Uzbek philology, faculty of Uzbek philology, UrSU.

The training was organized on the topic "Analysis of the scientific views of experts on the problems of Uzbek spelling". During the lecture, information was given about the specific aspects of Uzbek linguistics, the development of preliminary spelling rules, and a number of problems facing Uzbek spelling.

Teachers of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics F.Masharipova, A.Allaberganova, D.Sultanova and graduate students of the department participated in the lesson as observers.
