"Student Festival - 2024" week has started

Today, on May 13, the "Student Festival - 2024" week, which is being held among students of all higher education institutions in our region, was launched at a high level at Urgench State University.

Today, the opening ceremony of this week and the start of sports competitions were held in the sports complex of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies.

At the opening ceremony, the first vice-rector of the university D.Ibadullayev, Rector's adviser R.Sharipov, and the temporary deputy chairman of the Khorezm Regional Council of the Youth Union F. Atajonov gave information to the students and youngsters about all the activities within the weekly framework and called the youngsters to be active.

It should be said that this year's festival is being organized at a high level in cooperation with Khorezm regional administration, Khorezm regional administration of the Youth Affairs Agency, and Khorezm regional council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.

After the opening ceremony, competitions were started in almost all types of sports.

Students competed in mini-football, chess-checkers, ping-pong, volleyball, workout and arm wrestling.
