AN INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IS HELD AT THE URGENCH STATE UNIVERSITY ON THE SUBJECT "UZBEK-MONGOLI SCIENTIFIC RELATIONS IN THE FIELDS OF HISTORY AND PHILOLOGY"


 

Today, on June 5, an international conference on "Uzbek-Mongolian scientific relations in the fields of history and philology" was held at Urgench State University on the initiative of the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences in cooperation with the Khorezm Regional Department of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment. The symposium is being held with the participation of professors and teachers of the higher education institutions of our republic and the Mongolian State University. 

At the opening ceremony of the conference, Rector of Urgench State University, Prof. Bakhrom Abdullayev gave an introduction and wished success to the conference. Also, academician Anatoliy Sagdullayev, professor of the Department of Archeology of the National University of Uzbekistan, Consul General of Mongolia in Istanbul, Dr. Ankhbayar Danuu, Head of Khorezm Region Department of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment. Bekzod Abdirimov, Anvar Buranov, associate professor of the Department of "Social and Humanities" of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoiy, as well as historians and philologists of our university and Mongolian State University are participating with their lectures. 

At the conference, lectures will be held on topics such as the historical and cultural relations of Central Asia with Mongolia, Sorkoktani Khatun and her work, and Genghis Khan Yasog and Amir Temur Tuzugi: similarities and differences. 

It should be said that such international conferences are important not only in our Republic, but also in bringing together professors and researchers from foreign higher education institutions and conducting mutual scientific research.

The conference will continue its activities at the meeting of branches.
