Within the ECAMPUZ project

Winners of the CAMP-2 seminar of the "ECAMPUZ European World Talent Camp for Uzbekistan Scientists in Food Science and Technology" project within the framework of the European Union ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE program held at Urgench State University, young scientists and masters from June 30 to July 8, 2024 are studying at Copenhagen University in Denmark.  Bekzod Kuramboyev, a teacher of the Food Technology Department of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, accompanies the students as an observer. 

This ECAMPUZ grant was won by the Department of Food Technology of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies of UrSU, in which the competition for 2 programs "CAMPs" and "Train-the-trainer" is announced and the winners are determined annually.

ECAMPUZ is a three-year joint Erasmus+ project on capacity building within the framework of the cooperation of six partner higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and two prestigious higher educational institutions of the European Union. It is designed to cover three important areas of food science and includes three world-leading research groups:

Food analysis methods and chemometrics;
Food microbiology and food safety;
Food chemistry and molecular gastronomy.
