Business trip to Russia

On July 25-27 of this year, Urgench State University Rector Bakhrom Abdullayev, together with Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Gairat O'razboyev, is making a business trip to Russia as part of a delegation headed by the Khorezm Region Governor. 

Today, our delegation visited the Volgograd region of Russia. A meeting was organized there with the heads of higher educational institutions of the Volgograd region. The leadership of Volgograd State University, Volgograd State Agrarian University, Volgograd State Technical University and Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University took part in the meeting.  In the official dialogue with the representatives of the universities, there was a detailed discussion about the reforms and opportunities in the field of higher education of both countries today.  Rector B.Abdullayev introduced the possibilities of Urgench State University, the conditions created for students, international cooperation relations.

In turn, the heads of higher education institutions of the Volgograd region presented presentations about their universities.  Within the framework of the meeting, opinions were exchanged between higher education institutions on establishing future cooperation in the field of scientific research and education.
