UrSU students became the winners and prize-winners of the Cup of Uzbekistan competition

On September 10-17 of this year, the Uzbekistan Cup competition between adults and youth (U20) in weightlifting was held at the "Youth" sports complex in Urgench. 

More than 250 athletes from across the country took part in this prestigious competition. In particular, students of the department of "Individual wrestling" of the faculty of sports activities, pedagogy and psychology of the Urgench State University actively participated in the Khorezm national team and won prizes. Our students were coached by K. Ozodov, a teacher of the "Individual wrestling" department.

The results were as follows:

Khasanboy Berdiyev - 1st place; 333 kg (Uzbekistan Cup; Among adults -81 kg (men);
Khasanboy Berdiyev - 1st place; 333 kg (Uzbekistan Cup; Youth -81 kg (men);
Barchinoy Salayeva - 1st place; 177 kg (Uzbekistan Cup; Among adults -87 kg (women);
Mekhriniso Matyakubova - 2nd place; 155 kg (Uzbekistan Cup; among youth -55 kg (women);
Mekhriniso Matyaqubova – 3rd place; 155 kg (Uzbekistan Cup; Among adults -55 kg (women); 
Masharip Yuspov - 3rd place; 291 kg (Uzbekistan Cup; Youth +109 kg (men).

It is noteworthy that Bardiyev Khasanboy was accepted into the national weightlifting team of Uzbekistan.
