A republican working group is working at universities in Khorezm for the execution of presidential assignments

As you know, on January 22, the President got acquainted with the presentation on the priority tasks in the field of higher education and science and defined the work to be carried out in the 2025 system. In connection with the implementation of these tasks, the working group of the ministry is currently conducting controls in higher education institutions of the Khorezm region.

On January 25, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Head of the Working Group, Kungirotboy Sharipov, held a meeting at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni with the participation of heads of higher education institutions in the region and members of the working group. 

At the meeting, attention was paid to the delivery of the tasks set by the head of state to the deans and departments of each university in the region. 

The minister said that each higher education institution should develop its own development program, as well as improve the educational process, increase the quality of education, put the results of scientific research into practice, improve the socio-spiritual environment, and take a serious approach to the direction of spiritual-educational work; improve the system of educational work for youngsters; deal with young people prone to crime; develop the fields of engineering and artificial intelligence; and attract foreign investments and commission the development of proposals for material and technical support.

He listened to the information of the Republican working group, which is carrying out controls, and gave relevant assignments.

At the end of the meeting, additional recommendations were given to the chancellors of higher education institutions in the region regarding the establishment of a national and pop music ensemble in each higher education institution, the restoration of the "Student Spring" festival, and the raising of morale in universities to an enviable level.
