A group of professors and teachers of the university are participating in an international conference in Astana, Kazakhstan

On March 10-13 of this year, an international conference on the topic “Designing and Implementing responsive interventions to sustain the career progression of current and future teachers of English language and in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: the case studies of PRESETT at L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University Kazakhstan, Baishev university Kazakhstan and Urgench State University” is being held at the Eurasian National University in Astana, Kazakhstan, within the framework of the AELLCA project.

The Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni Z.Jumaniyozov, Deputy Dean J.Kushmanov, Head of the Department of English Language and Literature R.Abidova, and teachers of the department U.Akhmedova and Sh.Zaripova are participating in it.

As part of the program, Z. Jumaniyozov, as the head of the delegation, delivered a speech on behalf of the university at the opening ceremony and spoke about the work carried out on the project at the Department of English Language and Literature over the past 5 months. University teachers also delivered speeches.

The conference will continue until March 13.
